Welcome to our Wolverhampton Amputee Rehabilitation NHS Clinic
The Royal Wolverhampton Trust Amputee Rehabilitation Service is a regional specialist service for adults with limb absence based at the Maltings Mobility Centre. We have been serving Wolverhampton, South Staffordshire, the Black Country and the Telford area for more than 30 years. We specialise in adult, bespoke prosthetic provision and rehabilitation services for all levels of lower limb absence. Our multi-disciplinary team works with clients and family members to provide a comprehensive plan of care from pre-amputation consultation to post-prosthetic delivery and ongoing provision of prosthetic maintenance and clinical support.
Our goal is to match our clients' unique needs with appropriate prosthetic technology and support services. Our prosthetic team has a combined 104 years of experience in both private and NHS care. We partner with a highly experienced, specialist NHS staff of consultants, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, and counsellors to provide compassionate and client-centric care to support the recovery and restoration of life after amputation.
We provide multi-disciplinary rehabilitation support to adults with limb absence and their families, including consultants, prosthetists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and counsellors. We also serve military veterans with access to VPP funding. We are based at the Maltings Mobility Centre in central Wolverhampton and support satellites clinics in Telford and Dudley.
