Welcome to our Charing Cross NHS Clinic
The Imperial College NHS Blatchford Orthotic team provide orthotic services at Charing Cross Hospital as well as adult and paediatric services at St Mary’s Hospital. We work together with physiotherapy, podiatry, vascular and orthopaedic teams to provide inpatient and outpatient services at these sites. Additionally, we support a dedicated paediatric clinic held in Harrow.
The Prosthetic team provide prosthetic services for lower limb amputees & people with limb difference, as an outpatient service at Charing Cross Hospital.
We supply and service a range of custom and ready-made devices including insoles and specialist footwear, ankle foot orthoses (AFO), knee braces, spinal bracing (acute and chronic), protective helmets, upper limb orthoses, compression garments, prosthetic service.
The prosthetic service provides assessment, provision & upkeep of lower limb prosthetic devices onsite at Charing Cross Hospital.
Prosthetic rehabilitation is supported by a dedicated NHS specialist physiotherapy team and rehabilitation consultant, who provide assessment and ongoing prosthetic rehabilitation support.
