We also provide orthotic (surgical) appliances to patients attending the clinics at the centre and an in-ward unit at the Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath.
Referral Process
For prosthetic care, a referral would normally be made by your consultant. You may have physiotherapy at the Sussex Rehab Centre or your local hospital. For your prosthetic care you will be seen at the Sussex Rehabilitation centre and the MDT team (consultant, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, prosthetist) will assess you.
If you are moving to the area and wish to transfer your care here, please contact us and inform your existing centre.
For orthotic care, a consultant, GP or other healthcare professional would refer you specifically for the care of our consultants.
