Technical Director - Digital Health (R&D)

Robbie Woodhead is the Technical Director of Digital Health at Blatchford, bringing a rich background in technology and healthcare innovation. With a degree in Multimedia Design, his career includes roles in educational software, digital agencies, and medical devices. 

Robbie has developed enterprise web solutions for global clients and led the creation of a Digital Health Platform for home haemodialysis machines, demonstrating the transformative impact of technology on patient care. This experience cemented his commitment to healthcare innovation. 

At Blatchford, Robbie leads a team of software engineers, architects, data scientists, and testers in developing cutting-edge product software and the Digital Health App and Cloud Platform. He is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence and growth, ensuring Blatchford remains a leader in digital health. 

Outside of work, Robbie enjoys running and spending time with his family. Originally from South Africa, he now lives in the Midlands with his family and their Labradoodle, Bella.
